New for the Week of August 1st

This week’s featured book is The Darkness Knows by Cheryl Honigford, the first in a new mystery series.

It’s Chicago, 1938, and Vivian Witchell is ready for her new role in the popular detective radio series, The Darkness Knows.  Only problem is, one night she find the body of the station’s biggest stars in the employee lounge.  With her, she finds a note pointing to Vivian as the next to go.  While others encourage her to stay home where it’s safe, Vivian is determined to continue to work, even though it might mean putting herself in harm’s way.  Good thing Charlie Haverman, a private investigator has been hired to protect Vivian, and hopefully find the murderer.  Read this is you love classic murder mysteries set during a really rich time period.
