I learned a lot from this book. Like there are always two sides to the story and that even the “bad guy” has some redeeming qualities. Sometimes, when you find out a bit more about the other side, you can find sympathy for the other person. I’ve learned to be a bit more open-minded and less black-and-white about things since reading the book (and seeing the musical, which was also pretty amazing!).
I haven’t read the book yet or seen the musical, I heard that both are really good. But I do agree that there are two sides to every story and I think that we all tend to forget that sometimes.

I think this is one of the rare occasions that I think the book is NOT better than the movie (or musical as the case may be). I loved the musical so much. The book was a bit difficult to get into, though it was good.
